I used to do it 2 years back, I don’t do it now!

1. Country - Obviously India (No offence guys ;) )
2. Age - 24 (22 At the time of freelancing)
3. Education - B Tech - Electronics and communication - Average kind of student, ( Though it didn’t help me, nobody even cares now a days )
4. Monthly Earning in Dollar and your country Currency

Monthy Earning - 1.5–2 Lacs INR Per month /// $2500- $3500 Range

1. How many years spent in freelancing - All within 2 years, No previous expertise except a hard time, bad past, and high dedication and passion to do something in life.
2. Skills - When I started all I knew was a few basic PHP concepts and when I left, I am a CTO at INC 5000 company. So if I need to say this to myself, I still need to learn a lot. but here are the things I am best at as of now (If I feel best, I don’t want any arguments or certifications. )

Top Notch Skill - Googling Expert. I know google will never let me stuck.

Technical Skills - PHP, Angular, Node, Mean stack, HTML, CSS, JS, Jquery, Fabric Js, Mysql, MongoD. Meteor + Technology adoptions, I can adopt any technology,

I believe in all you need is the logic, everything else is on Google!

CMS - Wordpress, Magento. Opencart. Bigcommerce

Frameworks - Laravel, CI.

Beside That: Business Analysis, Technical consulting, Strategy and Planning, Agile Software development, Sprint, Scrum, Project management, I know how to keep a team surrounding you motivated, I know how to take ownership of something for getting it done, Knowing client and user perspective, I know how to smartly, cost efficiently outsource some project, I know how to deal with No, it can’t be done kind of people. I know how to ignore bullies, I can help my team out with all their issues even if it is relevant to tech or not, I know how to delegate and get it done, Beside that a lot!

I know my worth, I know how important confidence is in life and what I have written is very relevant to my daily routine, to what I have done in the past and I am a Yes man! Already happy with what i am doing and always very keen to learn more. I know how to be honest to yourself, the company you are working for and do your work!

If you have work ethic, you will have it all.

7. Websites you use for getting projects

Freelancer - Hire & Find Jobs Initially, then I moved to local clients, India is market for everything, I believe this beside the fact that customers are hard to deal with, But still they are very far away from Tech, So easy to manipulate.

I tried cold calling with my fush-fush English, and won a few jobs, from Singapore, And trust me, I was hardly able to understand the local SG English. But my efforts paid off.

I built very close connections with my clients and resulted in helping me scale and getting more work.

Beside that there are a lots of ways to get work, I believe if any one is dedicated, still even if market is having great competition, market is also having great opportunities,

My personal belief is that making 1 Lac per month can be an easy job. If you have what it takes.

This will be really helpful for recent graduates & people who want to take freelancing as full time profession .
